Maaori collection

Waikato District Libraries have a large Maaori collection

 

We have Maaori research and reference collections including Te Reo picture books in all of our libraries.

Our collections include:

  • Language learning resources
  • Works on local history and whakapapa
  • Historical and contemporary material based on kaupapa, tiakanga and whakaaro Maaori
  • Picture books, board books, graphics (comics) and DVDs for children
  • Treaty of Waitangi reference books.
