2024/2025 holiday processing times
Processing for alcohol licensing will stop Friday 20 December 2024 and will start again Wednesday 15 January 2025.
The Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2023 stops the statutory processing clock over Christmas and New Year.
Need a license?
- If you need a license for an event happening before or after the closedown, apply by Thursday 21 November 2024.
- If you need a license for an event from Wednesday 22 January 2025 onwards, apply by Wednesday 27 November 2024
If you are planning to sell or supply alcohol to the public you will need to apply for a licence under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012. All applications for licences and managers' certificates are determined by the District Licensing Committee.
