Community Boards and Committees now manage their own funding. Waikato District Council provides funding to these boards and committees to assist community groups, non-commercial groups and voluntary organisations operating within our district for events
and projects.
Below are the areas that can apply for this funding. If you are outside of these areas, you may be able to apply for funding through our rural fund.

The Raglan Community Board resolved at their meeting on Wednesday, 31 July 2024 to return to a discretionary fund 'rounds' model and will now hear any applications on a quarterly basis. This means that all discretionary funding applications will be heard by the Board at the following meetings :

February 2025
May 2025
July 2025
