Waikato District Council has corrected an error in the Water Supply Bylaw 2023, in accordance with section 156(2)(a) of the Local Government Act 2002.
The error pertains to Schedule 2: Table 1 Compatibility Features, which outlines the required water pressure for Council’s on demand water supply. “Meters head” and “kPa” are two ways of describing water pressure.
While the metre heads figures listed under Column ‘Value’ were correct, adjustments were made for the kPa figures to ensure equivalency between the two units of measurement.
