Application for Renewal of Club Licence for Huntly Bowling Club Incorporated

Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012

Huntly Bowling Club Incorporated has made application to the Waikato District Licensing Committee at Ngaaruawaahia for a renewal of club licence in respect of the premises situated at Taihua Road, Huntly and known as Huntly Bowling Club.

The general nature of the business to be conducted under the licence is: Outdoor Bowls & Indoor Bowls

The days on which and the hours during which alcohol is intended to be sold under the licence are:1 September to 30 April to Monday to Friday 9am to 9pm Saturday and Public Holidays 9am to 12midnight Sundays 9.am to 7.30pm 1May to 31 August Sunday to Friday 9am to 6pm Saturday and Public Holidays 9am to 12midnight.

The applicant seeks the following variation to the licence conditions:  Sunday to Friday 9am to 10pm Saturday & Public Holidays 9am to 12midnight

The application may be inspected during ordinary office hours at the office of the Waikato District Council, 15 Galileo Street, Ngaaruawaahia or by requesting a copy to css@waidc.govt.nz.

Any person who is entitled to object and who wishes to object to the issue of the licence may, not later than 25 working days after the first day of the publication of this notice on our website: www.waikatodistrict.govt.nz/services-facilities/food-and-alcohol/alcohol-licensing/alcohol-licensing-public-notices, file a notice in writing of the objection with the Secretary of the District Licensing Committee at Waikato District Council, Private Bag 544, Ngaaruawaahia, 3742 or email css@waidc.govt.nz and dlc@waidc.govt.nz

No objections to the issue of a licence may be made in relation to a matter other than a matter specified in section 131 of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.
