Proposed Temporary Road Closure Port Waikato – Waikaretu Road, Port Waikato

Notice is hereby given that Waikato District Council, for allowing Pukekohe Car Club to hold a motorsport event, proposes to temporarily close the road, for the period set out below.  While the road is closed, it will be manned at intersections by clearly identifiable marshals equipped with radio communication and access will be provided in the event of an emergency.

Any person wishing to object to the proposal should lodge their objection in writing before 5pm, 6 December 2019 at the offices of the Waikato District Council, Private Bag 544, Ngaruawahia. Or via email to tmc@waikatoalliance.co.nz.

Date of Closure: Saturday 15 February 2020 and Sunday 16 February 2020
Time of Closure: 6am to 6pm on both days

Section of road to be closed:

Port Waikato – Waikaretu Road, starting from its intersection with Maunsell Road to finish with its intersection with Baker Road.

This notice is given pursuant to the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974.
