Notice is hereby given that the Waikato District Council needs to close River Road between Duke Street and Driver Road to through traffic on Sunday 5 May 2019 and Sunday 12 May 2019 from 7am to 7pm.
The reason for the closures is that Sayer Drainage needs to lay pipes under the road on the two days mentioned above.
Traffic controllers will be on site to assist with local residents’ access and guide emergency services through the site if required.
While the closures are in place, through traffic will be diverted via Driver Rd, Kainui Rd and Great South Rd, which could add 15 minutes to travel time.
Waikato District Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.
This notice is given pursuant to Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965.
