Paterson Park Sports Complex lighting [Completed]

New lighting will be installed at two of our parks to enhance two of our sports grounds.

Paterson Park in Ngaaruawahia will receive new lights and poles,

These upgrades will significantly improve visibility and create a safer environment for all users, while eliminating glare and reducing light spill.

Project Update

January 2024 - New poles are installed along with the pillar boxes next to each pole. The trenching is completed, and the new lights will be assembled starting next week. Still on target to complete by Christmas 2023.  The lighting project is now completed with a completion ceremony being held on 24th January 2024.
