Harrisville Road bridge replacements

Flood prevention and resilience project.  Harrisville Road bridge is being redesigned to increase the amount of water that can pass underneath.  This project will also see a number of key services (water, power etc) lift with the bridge as well as an upgraded intersection with Ryders Road, Dominion Road & George Street.  

Project updates

December 2024 – Currently being Designed and Consented which will be complete by mid-2025.  Construction will be dependent on co-funding from NZTA/Waka Kotahi
