Waikato District Council is once again partnering with Sport Waikato to encourage its residents to take part in the Moving Waikato Community survey.
The annual survey, which targets school leavers and adults over 18 years old, aims to improve participation in physical activity across the Waikato.
[name, position] at Sport Waikato says the survey helps to identify and overcome barriers to physical activity, enhancing opportunities to stay active within the district.
“The survey gives us a chance to understand residents’ preferences for physical activity and explore both traditional and non-traditional options for staying active.
“You don’t need to be physically active to take the survey, we want to hear from all kinds of people so we can create a district that enables physical activity no matter what your circumstances are.”
With the aim of benefitting Waikato residents both now and in the future, the Moving Waikato Community survey aims to shape the future of health and wellbeing in the district.
With prizes up for grabs, take part in the survey below.
