We’re proposing some updates to our fees and charges, and we would like your feedback. Consultation is open from 17 September to 11 October 2024.
The proposed changes are designed to make sure the costs of providing certain services are accurately reflected. The changes will impact fees related to:
- Land planning charges;
- Motorsport events taking place on district roads;
- Roading usage charges.
We’re committed to providing value for our ratepayers, while ensuring that those using specific services contribute fairly to the costs involved.
Your feedback plays an important part in helping us keep these fees fair and balanced.
We’re also taking this opportunity to let you know that Central Government has updated parking infringements charges and towing fees across the country. Most of these fees haven’t changed since 2004 and will take effect from 1 October 2024. Just a reminder, these updated parking infringements charges and towing fees aren’t set by Council.
