Nominations closed at noon today for the Taupiri Community Board by-election, following the recent resignation of a community board member.

A postal ballot of the Taupiri Community Board electors will commence on Tuesday 8 August 2017 with the delivery of voting documents.
Voting documents can be returned by post or hand delivered to the Waikato District Council’s Head Office, 15 Galileo Street, Ngaruawahia between Tuesday 8 August 2017 and Tuesday 29 August 2017 during normal office hours, and on Wednesday 30 August 2017 until noon.
A person can apply to enrol as either a residential or ratepayer elector up to and including Tuesday 29 August 2017 – the day before the close of voting.
