Raglan Community Board members will receive a copy of Waikato District Council’s independent report on the Marine Parade wastewater overflow at this month’s board meeting.
General Manager Service Delivery, Tim Harty said the investigation into the overflow which occurred on Good Friday is factual and details a number of recommendations.
Council has estimated that approximately 38 cubic metres of untreated wastewater entered the Raglan Harbour on 25 March after a wastewater pipe collapsed.
Council is now awaiting the results of Waikato Regional Council’s investigation.
