Waikato District Council can confirm a monthly recycling collection will be trailed in Glen Murray starting early next month.
The monthly collection will start on March 5 and will continue to be run on the first Saturday of each month from 8.30am-12.30pm in the Glen Murray Hall carpark.
Just like the collections in Onewhero, Pukekawa and Pokeno, the public will be able to take paper, glass, cardboard and plastics to be recycled.
General Manager Service Delivery, Tim Harty encourages residents to make the most of this latest trial.
“We are interested to see the uptake from residents in the area as we continue to look for a long term solution for the North Waikato community. If the trial proves successful it may form part of that solution,” Mr Harty said.
