Waikato District Council is hosting a drop-in session about the latest on coastal erosion and future planning for Port Waikato.

The session will be opened with a scene-setting update on coastal erosion at Port Waikato by Jim Dahm, independent coastal scientist.

Information booths will be set up from 2pm to 5pm for you to connect directly with our teams about the Sunset Beach erosion, community infrastructure, homeowner support, stormwater and adaptive management planning.

We will also have representatives from Waikato Regional Council available to answer questions.
